Carnatic Violin

Coming to the another important string instrument, VIOLIN, it plays a prominent and dominant role in the INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC. The instrument Violin is initially a western instrument. Later, it has taken into our Classical field by Balu swamy, the brother of Mutthu swamy Deekshithulu. He had placed this Violin in this Indian music world with a respectable record from ever since. It is being played as an accompanist or solo. It is one of the best instruments which express the musical language. The legends L. Subramaniam, L. Shankar, T.N. Krishna, Lalgudi Jayaraman, M.S. Gopalakrishnan, Akella MalliKharjuna Sharma, Kumaresh etc are uplifting this renowned instrument variously.

At present, on honorarium basis, L.Bhumalingam is working in our college.
