Bharatanatyam

The dance is nothing but expressing the musical spirit.These are the major classical dances in India. Coming to Kuchipudi, it is originated in a village of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh state. Whereas Bharatnatyam is originated from the state of Tamil Nadu. The guidelines of these dance forms are explained in Natya Sastra written by Bharata.

Vempati Chinna satyam, Shoha Naidu, Alekhya Punjula, Nataraja Ramakrishna, Radha Reddy, Raja Reddy, Ananda Shankar Jayant etc are our legends of this dance form.

Bharatanatyam Artists:

Rukmini devi Arundale, Bala Saraswathi, Chirta Visweswaran, Yamini Krishnamurthy,Padma Subramanyam etc are the legends who enrolled their talents in this dance form.
